Bruce and Judy's story is a very unique one. They met when they were in their early teens and were sweethearts at the tender age of fourteen years old until Judy's family moved to another state a couple of years later. Bruce and Judy did not forget about each other simply because of the distance, but the separation made it impossible for them at such a young age, to continue in a relationship. Years later, Bruce decided to try to reconnect and landed on Judy's doorstep. She was out on an errand and missed his visit, but he left a note on her door. Unfortunately she was already married so Bruce went back home and eventually got married as well. Fast forward forty-three years, lost marriages and the addition of children later and they were able to reconnect and re-kindle the love they had begun so many years ago. I had the unexpected honor of photographing their beautiful wedding last November. It was the sweetest ceremony and so beautifully done. They chose Bruce's sister and brother-in-law's beautiful farm house as the location to begin their new life together. This beautiful home is decorated in a Victorian style in the living room where they said their vows. They reception was held in the family room which is like going back in time to the 50's era complete with a plethora of 50's memorabilia. It was such a fun and intimate way to celebrate their love and seal it forever.

Judy is a wedding coordinator and did a beautiful job decorating, giving thoughtful attention to the many sweet and personal details that mean so much to her and Bruce.
Bruce's sister, Nancy and his great nephew (her grandson) sharing a sweet moment
Nancy was the resident home owner/caterer for the event and did a fantastic job.
She served lasagna, French bread and salad for a simple, delicious, beautiful and "tastefully" done wedding dinner.
