Last night we took a hike/jog and at some points a sprint, on one of our favorite nearby trails that runs through the back yards of local farms. It's a beautiful trail if you just want to get out, get some exercise and breathe fresh air while taking in amazing beauty.
This tree is stunning in all seasons and I have managed to capture it in spring, summer, winter and fall. Here it stands, fully clothed in its greenest finery.
The farm below hosts the horses our children learned to ride on during their horsemanship classes. They rode, learned ground work, mucked out stalls, learned to properly groom a horse and spent many happy days enjoying these activities.
I love old farm equipment, barns and silos and can't resist snapping some photos and then playing with filters.
She has reached that age. You know the one, where every time you try to take her picture, she sabotages it. SO....what do you do? I took her pics anyway! Face or no face, it's still her, right? And these pics made us both laugh when she saw them later.
Over the years we have walked this trail many times and when we reach the end, the tradition is for the kids to hop up on the fence for a little rest while I shoot them.
That's the end of the trail and the end of the day. I leave you with one last glimpse of the sun peaking through the trees.
